Running 101
 
This six week class is right for individuals who are just beginning to run.  We offer groups for walk/run and for those who are able to run for 30 minutes.  The program is designed to allow everyone to build their fitness level in a controlled manner.  It provides a small group design with experienced coaching and information on hydration, nutrition, stretching, strength & core training, race day preparation, and more.  Classes meet at 5:15AM or 6:00PM at Get Fit on Tuesdays & Thursdays.  Application 
  • January 3rd thru February 9th, will prepare you for the LSRC Love the Run You're With 5K on Saturday, February 11th.
  • May 1st thru June 7th, will prepare you for the KidsInc Brandy Lee Leard Memorial 5K on Saturday, June 9th.

 


 New! Trail Training
 
This six week class is right for individuals who are able to run 4 miles and want to experience the beauty (and challenge) of running off-road!  The program is designed to allow participants to build their fitness level and speed in a controlled manner. It provides a small group design with experienced coaching and information on hydration, nutrition, stretching, strength & core training, race day preparation, and more. Classes times to be determined.  Application
  • February 28th thru April 19th, will prepare you for the Palo Duro Trail Run and Dirty Du on Saturday, April 21st.
 

 
10K Training
 

This six week class is right for individuals who are able to run a 5K or run/walk 45 minutes.  The program is designed to allow participants to build their fitness level and speed in a controlled manner.  It provides a small group design with experienced coaching and information on hydration, nutrition, stretching, strength & core training, race day preparation, and more.  Classes meet at 5:15AM or 6:00PM at Get Fit on Tuesdays & Thursdays.  Application

  • June 19th thru July 26th, will prepare you for the Hot Blooded 10K on Saturday, July 28th.

 


 

 

1/2 Marathon

 

This twelve week class is designed to prepare individuals for the 13.1 distance.  If you are able to run 6 miles, you are ready for a "half" class.  The program offers a small group design with experienced coaching and information on hydration, nutrition, stretching, strength training, core training, race day preparation, and more.  Classes meet at 5:15AM on Tuesdays and 6:00AM on Saturdays.  Application  

  • September 11th thru November 29th, will prepare you for the Dallas White Rock Half Marathon on Sunday, December 2nd.
